Troubleshooting
Find solutions to common setup, display, compatibility, and license issues in Woo Sales Booster.
On This Page
Overview
Most Woo Sales Booster issues can be resolved by checking plugin activation, module settings, product configuration, caching, theme or plugin conflicts, and license status.
Start with the Quick Checks below before making advanced changes. If the problem affects only one module, also review that module’s settings and its dedicated Module Guide.
Before troubleshooting on a live WooCommerce store, create a recent website and database backup. Whenever possible, perform plugin-conflict, theme-switching, or optimization testing on a staging website instead of the live store.
Quick Checks
Start with these basic checks. They resolve many common Woo Sales Booster display, configuration, and functionality problems:
✓ Confirm that WooCommerce and Woo Sales Booster are installed and activated.
✓ Confirm that your Woo Sales Booster license status is Active when the issue involves module configuration, updates, or verified support.
✓ Make sure WordPress, WooCommerce, and Woo Sales Booster are running compatible and up-to-date versions.
✓ Confirm that the affected Woo Sales Booster module is enabled and its settings have been saved.
✓ Check that the affected product, cart, checkout, or page meets the module’s display and eligibility conditions.
✓ Clear WordPress, WooCommerce, optimization-plugin, hosting/server, and CDN caches where applicable.
✓ Reload the affected page in a private or Incognito browser window.
✓ Temporarily disable CSS/JavaScript minification, combine, defer, delay, or other optimization options if the issue appears related to display or interaction.
✓ Test the issue on both desktop and mobile to determine whether it is screen-size specific.
✓ If the problem continues, review the relevant troubleshooting section below and the affected module’s Module Guide.
Plugin Activation
Use these checks when Woo Sales Booster itself does not activate in WordPress or an activation error appears.
Confirm that WooCommerce is installed and active.
2. Make sure Woo Sales Booster was installed using the official plugin ZIP file downloaded from your Payhip purchase.
3. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins and confirm that Woo Sales Booster appears in the plugin list.
4. Make sure your WordPress and WooCommerce installations are running supported, up-to-date versions.
5. Check whether WordPress displays a specific PHP, dependency, or compatibility error when you try to activate the plugin.
6. Temporarily deactivate other non-essential plugins and try activating Woo Sales Booster again to rule out a plugin conflict.
7. If necessary, switch temporarily to a standard WooCommerce-compatible theme and test activation again.
8. If the plugin activates successfully but the commercial license does not, go to Woo Sales Booster → License and follow the licensing checks in the License & Updates section below.
Important: Plugin activation and license activation are separate steps. WooCommerce must be active for Woo Sales Booster to function correctly, and an active Woo Sales Booster license is required for module configuration, secure automatic updates, and verified support.
Modules Not Displaying
Use these checks when an enabled Woo Sales Booster module does not appear where expected on the storefront.
1. Go to Woo Sales Booster → Modules and confirm that the affected module is enabled.
2. Open the module settings and confirm that its display, location, visibility, product, cart, checkout, or page conditions are configured correctly.
3. Save the module settings again after reviewing them.
4. Make sure the affected product or page meets the module conditions. For example, check product type, stock status, category, sale status, cart conditions, or other module-specific rules.
5. If the module depends on product data such as price, stock, variations, or related products, confirm that the required WooCommerce data is configured correctly.
6. Clear the WordPress cache, WooCommerce-related cache, hosting/server cache, CDN cache, and any optimization-plugin cache you are using.
7. Reload the affected page in a private or Incognito browser window.
8. Temporarily disable JavaScript/CSS optimization, delay, combine, defer, or minification options if the module still does not appear.
9. If necessary, test with other non-essential plugins temporarily disabled to check for a plugin conflict.
10. Also review the relevant Module Guide for any module-specific display requirements.
Note: Some Woo Sales Booster modules appear only when specific conditions are met, such as selecting a variation, meeting a cart threshold, viewing an eligible product, or reaching a particular WooCommerce page.
Changes Not Showing
Use these checks when you save Woo Sales Booster settings but the updated changes do not appear on the storefront.
1. Reopen the affected Woo Sales Booster module and confirm that the settings were saved correctly.
2. Click Save/Update again if needed.
3. Clear the WordPress cache and any WooCommerce-related cache.
4. Clear your hosting/server cache and CDN cache if either is enabled.
5. Purge the cache from any performance or optimization plugin you are using.
6. Reload the affected page in a private or Incognito browser window.
7. If the old design or behavior still appears, temporarily disable CSS/JavaScript minification, combine, defer, delay, or optimization options.
8. If your theme or page builder has its own CSS regeneration or cache option, regenerate or clear it.
9. Confirm that the affected page is actually using the product, cart, checkout, or template where the module is configured to appear.
10. If the issue continues, temporarily disable other non-essential plugins to check whether another plugin is overriding the saved output.
Tip: If a change appears in one browser but not another, the issue is usually related to browser, server, CDN, or optimization cache rather than the Woo Sales Booster setting itself.
Styling & Compatibility
Use these checks when a Woo Sales Booster module looks misaligned, uses unexpected colors or typography, overlaps other content, or behaves differently with your theme or page builder.
1. Go to Woo Sales Booster → Global Settings and review the shared colors, typography, spacing, and theme-matching options.
2. Open the affected module settings and review its alignment, width, spacing, button, typography, border, and responsive options.
3. Check whether your WordPress theme or page builder is applying its own CSS, container widths, typography, button styles, or responsive rules to the same area.
4. Temporarily disable CSS/JavaScript optimization, minification, combine, defer, or delay options and test the affected page again.
5. If your theme or page builder has a CSS regeneration or cache-clear option, run it and reload the page.
6. Test the module on desktop, tablet, and mobile to check whether the issue is limited to a specific screen size.
7. If needed, temporarily switch to a standard WooCommerce-compatible theme to determine whether the issue is theme-specific.
8. Temporarily disable other non-essential plugins if you suspect another plugin is adding conflicting CSS or JavaScript.
9. Review the relevant Module Guide for module-specific layout or styling requirements.
10. If the issue continues, contact Woo Sales Booster support and include the affected page URL, module name, browser/device details, and a screenshot that does not contain private credentials.
Important: Perform theme or plugin conflict testing on a staging site whenever possible. Do not deactivate essential plugins or make major styling changes on a live WooCommerce store without a recent backup.
License & Updates
Use these checks when license activation or verification fails, the wrong domain is connected, or Woo Sales Booster updates are not appearing.
1. Go to Woo Sales Booster → License and confirm that the license status is Active.
2. If needed, use Verify License to manually re-check the current authorization status with the private Woo Sales Booster license server.
3. Make sure you are using the Woo Sales Booster license key provided with your Payhip purchase and that no accidental spaces were added when entering it.
4. Remember that one Woo Sales Booster license can be active on one website at a time.
5. If the license is still connected to another website, deactivate it there before activating the same license on the new domain.
6. If your website was migrated or moved to another domain, deactivate the previous domain first and then activate the license on the new website.
7. Confirm that your website can make secure HTTPS requests and that its SSL certificate is working correctly.
8. Server firewalls, security plugins, DNS problems, SSL issues, or hosting restrictions may occasionally block communication with the license or update server.
9. If an update is not appearing, confirm that the license is Active and verified, then go to Dashboard → Updates, click Check Again, and check Plugins → Installed Plugins.
10. If the installation becomes unlicensed or unverified, existing Woo Sales Booster storefront output continues to work, but module configuration, secure automatic updates, and verified support remain locked until the license is activated and verified again.
Security: Keep your Woo Sales Booster license key private. Never include it in screenshots, public support posts, forums, social-media posts, or other publicly accessible locations. Also never share WordPress passwords, hosting credentials, secret keys, tokens, or other private credentials.
Still Need Help?
If the issue continues after completing these checks, contact Woo Sales Booster support. Verified support is available for customers with an active license.
Include your website URL, WordPress version, WooCommerce version, Woo Sales Booster version, the affected module or feature, and the exact error message. You may also include screenshots, but make sure they do not contain license keys, passwords, tokens, secret keys, or other private credentials.
