Overview
Woo Sales Booster uses a secure licensing system connected to our private license server. Licenses purchased through Payhip can be activated on one website at a time.
An active license verifies your installation, unlocks module configuration, enables secure automatic updates, and provides access to verified support. If the license becomes inactive, your existing storefront output continues to work, but module configuration, automatic updates, and verified support remain locked until the license is activated again.
Before You Activate
Make sure the following requirements are ready before activating your Woo Sales Booster license:
✓ Woo Sales Booster is installed and activated on your WordPress website.
✓ WooCommerce is installed and active.
✓ You have a valid Woo Sales Booster license key received after your Payhip purchase.
✓ You are activating the license on the website where you intend to use Woo Sales Booster.
✓ Your license can be active on one website at a time.
✓ Your WordPress website can make secure HTTPS requests to the Woo Sales Booster license server.
✓ A valid SSL certificate (HTTPS) is recommended for your website.
✓ If the license is already active on another domain, deactivate it there before activating it on the new website.
Important: A Woo Sales Booster license is intended for one active website at a time. If you move the plugin to another domain, deactivate the existing domain first and then activate the license on the new website.
Find Your License Key
After purchasing Woo Sales Booster through Payhip, a license key is provided with your purchase. This key is used to activate and verify your Woo Sales Booster installation.
1. Complete your Woo Sales Booster purchase through Payhip.
2. Open your Payhip purchase/download information.
3. Download the Woo Sales Booster plugin ZIP file.
4. Locate the Woo Sales Booster license key provided with your purchase.
5. Copy the license key carefully and store it somewhere secure.
6. You will use this license key when activating Woo Sales Booster from your WordPress dashboard.
Security: Keep your Woo Sales Booster license key private. Never publish it on a website, forum, screenshot, social-media post, support message, or any publicly accessible location.
Activate Your License
Connect Woo Sales Booster to the license server from your WordPress dashboard after installing and activating the plugin.
1. Sign in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Go to Woo Sales Booster → License.
3. Enter the Woo Sales Booster license key provided with your Payhip purchase.
4. Confirm that the website/domain shown on the license screen is correct.
5. Click Activate License.
6. Wait while Woo Sales Booster securely contacts the private license server and verifies your license.
7. After successful activation, confirm that the license status shows as Active and that the correct website is connected.
Manual License Verification
Woo Sales Booster can also manually verify the current license status with the license server.
Use Verify License when you want to re-check the license status, such as after reconnecting the website, resolving a temporary server connection issue, or confirming that the current domain is still authorized.
Manual verification checks the existing license connection. It does not create an additional website activation.
Success: When the license status shows Active, Woo Sales Booster module configuration, secure automatic updates, and verified support are available for the licensed website.
Manage Your Licensed Domain
A Woo Sales Booster license can be active on one website at a time. If you want to move your license to another website, deactivate it on the currently licensed domain before activating it on the new domain.
Transfer Your License to Another Domain
1. Sign in to the WordPress dashboard of the website where Woo Sales Booster is currently licensed.
2. Go to Woo Sales Booster → License.
3. Confirm that the license is currently active on that website.
4. Click Deactivate License.
5. Wait for Woo Sales Booster to confirm that the license has been successfully deactivated from the current domain.
6. Install and activate Woo Sales Booster on the new WordPress website, if it is not already installed.
7. Go to Woo Sales Booster → License on the new website.
8. Enter the same Woo Sales Booster license key.
9. Click Activate License.
10. Confirm that the license status shows as Active on the new domain.
Your license is now transferred to the new website.
Note: Deactivating a license does not remove Woo Sales Booster or delete its existing storefront output. While the installation is unlicensed, existing storefront output continues to work, but module configuration, secure automatic updates, and verified support remain locked until a valid license is activated again.
Update Woo Sales Booster
Woo Sales Booster delivers plugin updates securely through the private Woo Sales Booster update system. An active and verified license is required to receive automatic update notifications and install updates from your WordPress dashboard.
How Automatic Updates Work
When a new Woo Sales Booster version is available, your licensed website can receive the update through the normal WordPress plugin update interface.
1. Make sure your Woo Sales Booster license status is Active.
2. Sign in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
3. Go to Dashboard → Updates or Plugins → Installed Plugins.
4. If a newer Woo Sales Booster version is available, WordPress will display an update notification.
5. Review the available version and click Update Now.
6. Wait until WordPress confirms that the plugin has been updated successfully.
7. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins and confirm that Woo Sales Booster shows the new version.
8. Review your storefront and important Woo Sales Booster modules after the update.
Woo Sales Booster updates are delivered from the private Woo Sales Booster update server rather than the public WordPress.org plugin repository.
Recommended: Create a recent website backup before installing plugin updates, especially on a live WooCommerce store. Keeping Woo Sales Booster updated helps ensure compatibility, security, bug fixes, and access to the latest improvements.
License Required: If the Woo Sales Booster license is inactive or unverified, existing storefront output continues to work, but secure automatic updates remain unavailable until the license is activated and verified again.
Privacy & Security
Woo Sales Booster uses a privacy-focused licensing system designed to exchange only the information required for license activation, verification, domain management, and secure plugin updates.
The licensing system does not require access to your WooCommerce customer profiles, orders, cart contents, payment information, or store analytics.
Information Used for Licensing
The Woo Sales Booster licensing system may use the following information when communicating with the private license server:
✓ Your Woo Sales Booster license key for secure verification.
✓ Your website URL and normalized domain for single-domain license binding.
✓ Your installed Woo Sales Booster plugin version for license and update checks.
✓ Your current license status and activation information.
✓ Technical timestamps required for activation, verification, deactivation, and license-server communication.

Privacy: The complete license key is not stored in readable form in the private license database. The licensing system uses privacy-safe license records required to verify the license and manage its authorized domain.
Security: Keep your Woo Sales Booster license key private. Never publish or send it through screenshots, public support posts, forums, social media, or other publicly accessible locations.
License Troubleshooting
If Woo Sales Booster cannot activate, verify, transfer, or update correctly, check the common situations below before contacting support.
Common License Problems
License key is not accepted
Make sure you copied the Woo Sales Booster license key exactly as provided with your Payhip purchase. Check for accidental spaces before or after the key and try activating again.
License is already active on another domain
A Woo Sales Booster license can be active on one website at a time. Deactivate the license on the previously licensed website, then activate it on the new domain.
License activation or verification cannot connect
Make sure your website has a working internet connection and can make secure HTTPS requests to the Woo Sales Booster license server. Server firewalls, security plugins, DNS problems, SSL problems, or hosting restrictions may occasionally block outgoing requests.
After resolving the connection issue, go to Woo Sales Booster → License and use Verify License to check the license again.
Website was migrated or the domain changed
Deactivate the license from the previous domain before moving it whenever possible. Then activate the same license on the new website.
Automatic update is not appearing
Confirm that the Woo Sales Booster license status is Active and verified. Then go to Dashboard → Updates or Plugins → Installed Plugins and check for updates again.
License becomes inactive or unverified
Existing Woo Sales Booster storefront output continues to work. However, module configuration, secure automatic updates, and verified support remain locked until the license is successfully activated and verified again.
